Ashlin and Tanner met in 2003 at Pinetree Elementary School. Little did they know, they would cross paths again 20 years later at Kekoa’s (Ashlin’s brother and one of Tanner’s lifelong friends) wedding. Tanner let Ashlin cut in line at the bar during cocktail hour and agreed to join her fantasy basketball team. The next day, and for weeks to come, they would run into each other again during indoor soccer games which turned into weekly dates and hangouts.

It wasn’t until they spent an entire day at Disneyland together from open-to-close that they definitely knew they were both the one for the other. After all, Ashlin was working 6 days a week and still chose her one day off to ignore rest and walk 35,000 steps with Tanner, all while laughing the day away and eavesdropping on other couples’ arguments (lol).

Since that day, they’ve spent countless days at Disneyland, staycations, LA Kings games, arcades, eating lots of food, and finding joy in even the simple things, like running errands.

Although they will always find the joy in life as long as they have each other.
